Worstead Festival 2025
Dive into the heart of Norfolk's countryside at the Worstead Festival, an annual celebration that brings to life the rich tapestry of rural heritage, local arts, crafts, and the finest produce the region has to offer.
Scheduled for the last weekend in July, specifically the 26th and 27th in 2025, the festival promises two days of immersive activities, workshops, demonstrations, music, entertainment, and a showcase of local food and drink, all set in the picturesque location of Worstead, nestled between the Norfolk Broads and the coast.

Worstead Festival takes place on the last weekend of July every year, this year it falls on:
Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 July 2025
The festival is held in the village of Worstead, primarily it's on the grounds of the Queen Elizabeth Hall but you'll also find things to do across the village and especially in the church.

What's Going On
Something For Everyone
There will be a display ring with shows going on for much of the day - you may get to see horses, BMX bikes, dogs or tractors.
The Made In Worstead marquee will showcase local artisan crafts. There will also be a live music stage; food tent with chef demonstrations from local chefs; a licensed bar.
As well as over 100 stalls selling a wide variety of crafts, food and drink; a flower festival and music in the church; a petting farm; archery; activities for children; an art exhibition and a village hall full of LEGO®.
The Worstead Festival Story
How it started!
The festival was founded in 1965 (with the first festival taking place in July1966) to raise money to save the extraordinary village church, which was falling into disrepair. Prior to the festival idea - the parishioners had all been given a charity money box to raise funds for the church restoration - it quickly and affectionately became known as the ‘swear box’.
